Top Fitness Classes Trending in 2017

With summer coming to an end it can be pretty impossible at times to find the motivation to get up and get active. It’s time to mix it up. No more hibernating, no more storing food for the winter. Here are the top trending fitness classes this year, let’s go!

Hip Hop Hot Yoga

We had Yoga… then we had Hot Yoga… and now we have Hip Hop Hot Yoga. Based at ONE Studio London – Hip-Hop Hot Yoga is a brand new yoga flow for people who love fast paced yoga and for those who ‘don’t do yoga’, designed to not only sculpt your body by making you sweat but also unplug you from your day-to-day life whilst listening to your favourite beats.

Hip Hop Hot Yoga is perfect for cardio junkies, who love high-energy, result driven workouts. Expect the Hip-Hop music to take you into a continual rhythm of fast vinyasa flow. While not quite Bikram hot, ONE LDN uses infrared heat to warm the studios to heat the room to 35 degrees to provide a better cardiovascular exercise and deliver a high calorie burn, whilst maximising flexibility. The workout syncs a 50 minute long Vinyasa flow to the beat of the music which is expectedly fast-paced and will, therefore, leave you dripping in sweat.

 Napercise

With the cold nights drawing in, feeling fatigued and lazy is probably more common now than ever. There’s probably even days where you think ‘if only staying in bed was a workout’. Well now, it is. ‘The 40 winks Workout’ created by David Llyod clubs have created a health and fitness class that consists of nothing but nothing but sleeping.

WHAT!?

The pioneering new session called ‘Napercise’ is scientifically designed to reinvigorate the mind, improve moods and even burn the odd calorie. The class arrives in the wake of research revealing the ‘tiredness epidemic’ across the UK, with 86% of parents admitting to suffering from fatigue, with 26% regularly getting less than 5 hours sleep a night

Upon arrival in the studio guests will find the spin-bikes swapped for single beds, and upbeat workout tunes ditched in favour of atmospheric sounds, to create the perfect environment for the soporific sessions to take place. The studio temperature will also be dropped to a level that promotes calorie burning during sleep. Napercisers will be invited to curl up in one of the beds and indulge in some restorative mid-afternoon shuteye, before continuing on with their day.

Soul Cycle

Spinning that is good for the soul. At Soul Cycle, they climb, they jog, we sprint, they dance, they set their intention, and they break through boundaries. The best part: they do it together, as a community.

SoulCycle is indoor cycling re-invented. Forty-five minutes is all it takes to transform the way you look and feel. Get ready for fat-burning cardio, a full-body workout (we’ve added hand weights and core work!), and choreography to work your core.

Barry’s Boot Camp

‘The Best Workout in the World’ Bold statement… right? We thought so to, until we tried it. This is the room where everything becomes possible. Where you push through the “I can’t’s” and “If Only’s.” Where you run faster, lift more, lean out, quiet down. This is what transformation looks like. Where you become the best version of yourself.

The workout itself is designed for efficiency. The intervals and strength training combinations are proven to lean and tone your body. This isn’t a fitness trend. It’s just science. And it works.

Then there’s the “thing” that happens when the doors close, lights dim, and music turns up. There’s a palpable energy in the room that pushes you one step further. It’s the soul, body, brain revolution that’s uniquely Barry’s.
